To assess the effectiveness of SaveLivez Campaigns, the San Diego Blood Bank (SDBB) conducted a rigorous pilot study comparing its existing donor recruitment methods to our AI-powered engagement approach.

The Study: A Scientific Approach to Measuring Impact The study followed an academic-grade cohort methodology, ensuring statistical rigor:

  • Two groups were created: A control group that received SDBB’s standard donation requests and a test group that only received messages from SaveLivez Campaigns.
  • Groups were carefully matched based on key donor characteristics (ABO-Rh type, donation history, etc.).
  • SDBB independently designated which group would receive SaveLivez messaging and which would remain in the control group.
